For at least the next month or so I am going to have to opportunity of posting on the PDX side of this Cross Pixel Nation blog so I thought I would take this first post to tell any readers out there a little bit about myself.

My name is Chris Sullivan, I was born in Beaverton, Oregon and I have lived there all my life.  My path so far has taken me to University of Oregon, where I will be a Senior next year studying Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing.  

I have been able to get involved in some great organizations during my time so far at U of O.  As part of the EA Campus Rep program (which has a presence at 40 universities) I promote most of EA’s game titles through game demos, tournaments, and other awareness events.  It is a college students dream job.  I joined Sigma Chi Fraternity my Freshman year, which has helped me expand my horizons at school by introducing me to a large group of new friends and offering leadership opportunities.  American Marketing Association has also been a great resource for me, allowing me to connect with like minded students, as well as network with professionals and help expand my knowledge and passion for marketing.

A fortunate turn of events allowed me to get connected with Ryan Buchanan, the President of eROI, and land this internship.  Although I’m not sure what my exact title would be (I currently go by “Marketing Intern”), I have my hands in many of the marketing functions of eROI.

So until the end of August you will be able to read about my experience in agency life.  Hopefully I can provide you with some fun reading and insight into the processes of eMarketing and life at eROI.  Have fun reading!
