eROI does a lot of things, but one of most important is a software package called emailROI.  It allows businesses to send out professional, HTML based emails to large mailing lists and measure the success of their email program through a variety of metrics.

I was trained to use emailROI. by a member of the support team and tasked with sending out a welcome email to introduce myself to all of the other members of the eROI team.  I crafted a nice little email (although I was scared that all of the OSU alums would get after me due to my U of O connection), it all went well and of course I was able to track some statistics on my email.

Overall it was a huge success (82% read rate, boo ya!), and I was able to scratch the surface of email marketing.
